Pay on-line Deposit Application Fee (non-refundable) of $50 ($65
after May 5) and you will be directed to the application
form to complete and submit. Admission to the Piano Institute,
and placement in orchestras (intermediate or advanced) is based
on prepared tape/CD/DVD/stream or Faculty Recommendation and is
determined by Conservatory Faculty. New students must submit an
audition tape or CD with any musical composition (scales, etudes,
pieces, concerti). Teacher recommendations may be substituted for
the tape/CD. Materials will not be returned. Applications &
audition recordings should be sent as soon as they are prepared

Upon
acceptance, you will receive an information packet. Included in
the package are required forms: Health/Medical, Repertoire, Arrival
& Departure transportation needs, Housing, and Scholarship Application
if requested. To hold your reservation, return promptly the forms
completed and with minimum $200 deposit. Balance can be paid monthly,
but must be paid in full by June 10, 2008 DEADLINE. A final packet
of information will be mailed to you in late June. Questions?

DURANGO
/ FARMINGTON AREA COMMUTER STUDENTS
Commuter students participate in all activities offered at Conservatory
Music in the Mountains 2008. Daily schedules can be designed to
accommodate commuter student needs. Area students may choose to
stay on campus; room/board costs are additional to tuition. Commuters
may purchase meals on campus. Details are available upon request.
Scholarships for Durango/Farmington area students (tuition only)
are available through the office of Music in the Mountains. Area
students should call 970-385-6820 to request student and scholarship
applications. Scholarship application deadline is April 20, 2008.
