Gary Needham, cellist, conducts the Conservatory Concert Orchestra. Mr. Needham received his Bachelors in Music Education from Hardin-Simmons University and was Head Orchestra Director at Frankford Middle School in Plano, a program of over 220 students, including 3 performing groups that received the UIL “Sweepstakes” award and place in the Finals of the TMEA Middle/Junior High School Honor Orchestra Competition in 2001, 2003, and 2004. Mr. Needham is an active clinician/judge in the Dallas area and around the state and is the current Orchestra Director at the Lowery Freshman Center in Allen, Texas.
